Additional characters, cast members, and the first trailer for the TV anime adaptation of The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne have been revealed. The series is scheduled to premiere in July.

The original The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne light novel began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in February 2019. Kadokawa Shoten publishes the print edition in Japan under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint, with 15 volumes released so far. The series is written by Tanba and illustrated by Yuunagi.
Kadokawa also publishes an English digital version of the light novel and provides a description of the story:
