The second season of the TV anime The Fable, based on the manga by Katsuhisa Minami, has officially been confirmed. A teaser visual has also been revealed. This new season will adapt the “Yamaoka arc”, continuing the story and exploring the aftermath of the events from the first season.

The first season of The Fable, based on the manga by Katsuhisa Minami, aired from April to September 2024. The anime was directed by Ryosuke Takahashi and produced by Tezuka Productions. The series features writing by Yuya Takashima, character designs by Kyuma Oshita and Saki Hasegawa, and music composed by Shuichiro Fukuhiro.
The original manga is published in English by Kodansha USA. The anime was streamed worldwide on Disney+:
How is the most talented genius assassin ever not supposed to kill anyone? Specially trained since he was a child to be a hitman, the invincible killing genius known as Fable can eradicate any opponent in six seconds or less. But then, one day, the boss of the organization suddenly orders him not to kill anyone for a year, and to live an ordinary life. Under the name Akira Sato, Fable takes on his assignment as a pro to live the life of a totally normal person.
