The Dangers in My Heart: THE MOVIE Unveils Main Visual, Preview, and Theme Song Info

Based on the manga by Norio Sakurai.

The main visual, preview video, and theme song details for The Dangers in My Heart: THE MOVIE, based on Norio Sakurai’s original work, have been revealed. The film is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026.

The theatrical edition will feature a re-edited version of the story from the TV anime, along with brand-new animation covering the events that follow Season 2.

The theme song will once again be performed by Yorushika, who also provided the opening theme for the anime’s first season. The new track is titled “Madder”, and a short excerpt can be heard in the newly released preview video.

The movie is set to premiere not only in Japan but also in the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and several other Central American regions.

The first season of the TV anime premiered in April 2023, followed by the second season in January 2024, and the spin-off has also been adapted into an anime.

HIDIVE describes the second season as follows:

Fascinated by murder and all things macabre, Kyotaro fantasizes about acting on his twisted thoughts to the detriment of his classmates. His heart was dark until an encounter with Anna lit a spark within it in a classic tale of antisocial boy meets popular girl. Now they must both navigate a blossoming relationship and defy the expectations they have of each other and themselves.
