The key visual, promotional video, and new cast information for the third season of the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries have been revealed.
Season 3 will air every Friday at 11 PM on Nippon TV’s FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT programming block, starting October 2. The second half is scheduled for April 2027. Crunchyroll will also stream the new season.
The opening theme song has been confirmed as “Beyond the Winds, Only Me Downwind” by Yorushika.

Reina Ueda will voice Bai Niangniang, one of the mysterious White Maidens. The White Maidens have translucent white skin, white hair, and red eyes, and their appearance causes a stir in the streets.
Before the season premieres, an advance screening of Episodes 1 and 2 will be held on September 27 at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo. A stage greeting with the main cast will take place after the screening, with live viewings also planned at 10 theaters across Japan. Attendees will receive special stickers featuring the new key visual.
It was also announced that an official podcast will be launched. In addition, Nippon TV will rebroadcast Episodes 1 and 6 from the first season in September ahead of Season 3.
New information about The Apothecary Diaries: The Movie was also revealed. Original characters created for the movie and designed by Toko Shino, who also illustrated the original work, have been unveiled:
