Nine brand-new scene cuts from the anime film That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea, based on the works of Taiki Kawakami and Fuse, have been revealed. Set to premiere in Japan on February 27, 2026, the movie will present an entirely original story, with Fuse overseeing the project and providing the initial draft.
Crunchyroll has acquired the worldwide theatrical rights for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea, except in most Asian countries. Fans outside Asia will soon be able to watch the movie in theaters.

Based on the light novels by Fuse, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Crunchyroll offers streaming for every preceding season of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime,” along with the Scarlet Bond movie and the newly released Visions of Coleus OVA, available in both subtitled and dubbed versions.
