Studio TRIGGER has officially announced that director Hiroyuki Imaishi and screenwriter Kazuki Nakashima are working together on their fourth project. At this time, no title, release window, or additional details have been revealed. The studio has only confirmed that the new collaboration is currently in development.

Imaishi and Nakashima have previously created three acclaimed original anime together: Gurren Lagann (2007), Kill la Kill (2013), Promare (2019)
