STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime Reveals Kroi’s “SPIN” as Opening Theme

The opening theme for the anime STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, based on Hirohiko Araki’s original manga, has been revealed as Kroi’s new song “SPIN”.

A newly drawn anime illustration featuring the characters from the series has also been revealed as the song’s jacket artwork.

Speaking about the song, Kroi said:

“Centered around a sound reminiscent of Westerns, inspired by Ennio Morricone and The Ventures, we combined different styles of music we have encountered over the years, including Funk, Soul, and Hip-Hop, to complete this track.”

Starting September 25, the 2nd and 3rd stages of “STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix. New episodes will be released every Friday, with a total of 11 episodes.

Netflix describes STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime as follows:

It’s 1890, in America, the Steel Ball Run — the first horse racing championship across the North American continent — was about to begin. Spanning around 4,000 miles, the race offered 50 million dollars as the winning prize. Johnny Joestar, once being hailed as a genius jockey, is now paralysed and lost in despair. He finds hope in the mysterious phenomena caused by Gyro Zeppeli, an outlaw aiming to win the race, and determines to participate in the Steel Ball Run Race. Each having their own goal in mind, the two form an alliance and set foot upon the grueling adventure and race.
