The main trailer for Star Detective Precure! The Movie: The Mysterious Garden and the Secret of the Two has been released, along with new preview images. The 35th Precure movie will premiere in Japan on September 18, 2026.
The ending theme song, “FIRST PRISM,” and the insert song, “First Step,” have also been revealed. Dance practice videos for both songs are now available.

Star Detective Precure! is the latest installment in the long-running Pretty Cure series.
The Pretty Cure franchise, also known as Precure, launched with its first series, Futari wa Pretty Cure, in February 2004. Its 21st installment, Wonderful Precure!, premiered on Crunchyroll in February 2024. The 22nd and latest entry in Toei Animation’s long-running magical girl saga, You and Idol Precure♪, debuted in Japan on February 2, 2025.
Crunchyroll describes the story as follows:
Middle school student Uta Sakura loves to sing any chance she gets. But music becomes more than a hobby when she meets Purirun, a fairy whose hometown has plunged into darkness. The Chokkiri Gang took over her land and began stealing her people’s sparkle. Determined to help, Uta is transformed into the legendary protector Cure Idol and vows to return their sparkle through song.
