The main visual and trailer for the latest installment in the Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 3199 remake series, Chapter 6, have officially been revealed. The new main visual was illustrated by Nobuteru Yuuki, who also handled the character designs for the chapter. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on June 26.
Space Battleship Yamato 3199 is a remake series based on the third Space Battleship Yamato theatrical film, originally released in 1980, and reimagines the story with new interpretations. The project began in 2024 and will be released in a total of seven chapters.
Starting today, May 8, the second wave of movie ticket cards for Chapter 6 is now available. Each purchase comes with a special B2-size poster bonus. Fans can choose between two different designs: the “2nd Teaser Visual Poster” and the “Main Visual Poster”.
