Japanese rock band SPYAIR has celebrated its anniversary with a special music video featuring scenes from the first season of Sentenced to Be a Hero. The video is set to “Kill the Noise”, the anime’s opening theme song performed by the band.
The anime is based on Rocket Shokai’s light novel series, which debuted in 2020 and has since expanded into a manga adaptation illustrated by Natsumi Inoue. The TV anime adaptation is produced by Studio KAI and streamed worldwide by Crunchyroll.

The light novel series Sentenced to Be a Hero debuted in 2021 and has since amassed five volumes as of August 2023. Published by KADOKAWA under the Dengeki no Shibungei label, the series features illustrations by MEPHISTO.
