A new chapter of the Solo Leveling anime has officially been announced. During the Crunchyroll Showcase at Anime Expo 2026, Solo Leveling -Beyond the System- was revealed as a theatrical anime movie.
The film will continue Sung Jinwoo’s journey, picking up after the events of Solo Leveling Season 2 and adapting the next part of the story.
The announcement was accompanied by a teaser key visual and a concept video, offering fans a first look at what’s next for the S-Rank Hunter.

Crunchyroll also confirmed it is co-producing the movie alongside Aniplex, Netmarble, D&C Media, and Kakao Piccoma. Meanwhile, A-1 Pictures, the studio behind the anime series, will return to animate the film.

They say whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but that’s not the case for the world’s weakest hunter, Sung Jinwoo. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-ranking dungeon, Jinwoo came back with the System, a program only he could see, that’s leveling him up in every way.
Now, he’s inspired to discover the secrets behind his powers and the dungeon that spawned them.
