The original Shiotaio no Sato-san ga Ore ni Dake Amai light novel series first began publication on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in June 2019. It is also published in print in Japan by Shogakukan under the Gagaga Bunko imprint, with 12 volumes released so far. The series is written by Kazami Sawatari and illustrated by Achiki.

Meanwhile, the manga adaptation illustrated by Kaya Tetsuyama has reached its 10th volume, which was released today, March 18.

The story follows Sota Oshio, a café clerk who one day discovers that Koharu Sato—rumored to be the strict and cold “Shiotaio no Sato-san ga Ore ni Dake Amai” is actually shy and clumsy. From that moment on, the distance between them gradually begins to close.

This youth romantic comedy portrays the tender first love between two individuals, each harboring their own unrequited feelings.
