Bangkok’s Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2026 (AFA Thailand 2026) welcomed Vocaloid producers SatapanP, picco and Yasei Yoshida to the niconico LIVE Stage for a special DJ performance.
Organized by Japanese media company Dwango in collaboration with SOZO Pte Ltd, the stage is part of the Asia Creators Cross initiative, which aims to connect Japanese creators with fans across Asia.
The three artists performed a selection of popular Vocaloid songs and anime-related tracks, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience. Fans filled the venue with cheers, singalongs and colorful penlights throughout the show.
The event highlighted the growing popularity of Vocaloid music and Japanese culture in Southeast Asia, while providing an opportunity for Japanese creators to engage directly with international fans.
Dwango stated that it will continue supporting projects such as Asia Creators Cross to strengthen connections between Japanese creators and audiences around the world.
AFA Bangkok is one of Southeast Asia’s biggest festivals dedicated to anime, music and Japanese pop culture, attracting fans from across the region.

Satapan P is a Japanese Vocaloid producer and composer. He is known for creating a distinct musical universe, blending chaos and catchiness into electrifying compositions fusing multiple genres together, topped off with clever wordplay. In addition to releasing his own music, he actively writes and produces songs for other artists. Just two years after debuting, his YouTube channel surpassed one million subscribers. His manic track “Yababaina” has more than 12.5 million views and became a highlight of 2020s Vocaloid music. Following his appearance at YouTube Music Weekend 10.0, he also debuted as a solo artist under the name Sata, performing his own vocals. Already enjoying a strong and established fanbase, his audience continues to expand rapidly, reaching listeners not only in Japan but also across the globe.

picco is a Tokyo-based trackmaker and Vocaloid producer known for her signature blend of catchy melodies and uplifting electro sounds. Self-described as “Hyper Kawaii Music,” her work combines bright synth textures with a playful energy, earning her a growing fanbase within internet-driven and subculture music scenes. Her credits include contributions to major multimedia projects such as Sanrio’s Cogimyun, Bandai-Namco Entertainment’s Denonbu, and SEGA × Colorful Palette’s hit rhythm game Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku. These collaborations showcase her ability to bring a distinct artistic voice to large-scale franchises while staying rooted in the Vocaloid culture she came up in. Beyond production, picco is an active DJ performing at clubs and events where she translates her vibrant digital sound into high-energy experiences. Bridging online music communities with the mainstream, she has established herself as a standout figure in modern kawaii electronic music

Yasei Yoshida is a Vocaloid producer with a deep passion for music and internet culture. Although his name is read “Yoshida Yasei,” he is also known by the nickname “Yoruyo.”
He first gained widespread attention with his breakout track “Override,” and has since released a number of popular songs, including “I know 愛脳.” and “Saimaru-teki na,” among others. In addition to his original works, he has contributed numerous commissioned tracks, including “Accelerate” for the Project Sekai series.
Beyond music production, he is also active as a DJ, delivering energetic performances across various events.
