Paru Itagaki‘s SANDA manga is getting a TV anime adaptation, with Science SARU handling animation production. Paru Itagaki is the creator of BEASTARS. A teaser visual featuring the protagonist has been released.

The story follows a boy named Sanda in a future with a declining birth rate, as he discovers his classmate plans to kill him due to a « curse » he carries.
The manga recently ended after launching in Weekly Shonen Champion magazine in July 2021. The 14th volume was released in Japan on June 7, 2024, with the 15th to follow on August 7.
