Recommendation from Mr. Iwamoto is a romantic story set in 1910s Japan. Iwamoto Kodo, a student at a military-run junior high school, is tasked with investigating paranormal events across the country and identifying individuals with supernatural abilities for military use. Through his travels, he encounters mysterious phenomena and gifted people, revealing human bonds and the desire to protect others.

Originally published as a one-shot on Shonen Jump+ in March 2020, the series began serialization in Ultra Jump in March 2021. The latest, 13th volume will be released on January 19.
