Ranma 1/2 Season 2 Anime Set to Premiere on October 4 with New Theme Songs

The new season is set to premiere on Netflix this October.

The second season of the TV anime Ranma 1/2, based on Rumiko Takahashi’s popular manga, will premiere on Japan TV at 24:55 on October 4. The opening theme will be “Wo Ai Ni” by Wednesday Campanella, and the ending theme will be “Panda Girl” by Nishina.

In addition, a special digest video revisiting the first season, TV Anime Ranma 1/2 Season 1 Digest Movie“, featuring newly recorded narration, has been released. On October 4, a special advance screening will also take place at Tokyo United Cinema Toyosu.

Netflix describes the story as follows:

Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo’s parents have arranged for them to get married. However, there’s a problem: whenever Ranma is splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl! The stage is set for a slapstick martial arts rom-com filled with quirky characters!
