The new spin-off of the classic 1977 anime Rascal the Raccoon, titled Raccoon Team Calcal, is continuing into the summer with a second cour.

The story follows five dedicated employees at the lesser Tama branch of the secretive Calcal Group, an organization striving for world domination. Among them are an ambitious new recruit eager to prove themselves, a courteous yet self-doubting superior, a detached modernist with a cool demeanor, a passionate but warm-hearted senior, and a charismatic older leader guiding the team.
