The TV anime Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix- has announced two additional cast members, Ayaka Miyoshi and Junichi Suwabe. The first promotional video has also been unveiled. The series is set to begin broadcasting in Japan on January 11, 2026.

Details for the advance screening event at Tokyo United Cinema Toyosu on January 8, 2026, have also been revealed. The event will feature screenings of Episodes 1 and 2, followed by a talk show with the main cast and the original author. Ticket pre-orders will open on December 6 at 12:00 PM via ePlus.
