The classic anime film Ninja Scroll will return to theaters in North America this October with a new 4K restoration.
Iconic Events Releasing and HIDIVE will present the limited theatrical release on October 4, 5, and 7 across the United States and Canada. This marks a second collaboration between the two companies after the successful 30th anniversary re-release in 2024.
The new version has been restored in 4K from the original 35mm film negative, with color correction and repair work supervised by Kawajiri. The restoration was completed by AMC Global Media’s Sentai and previously premiered at the 76th Berlinale Film Festival.
Ticket sales and participating theaters will be announced soon, with advance tickets available online and at box offices.
