Zuion and Kei Keiyama’s manga Zeikin de Katta Hon is set to receive both a live-action drama adaptation and a TV anime.
The drama will air this summer on NHK General, broadcasting Monday through Thursday from 10:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The script is written by Riko Sakaguchi, with music composed by Kei Yoshikawa. The series is directed by Hiroyuki Muramatsu and Tomoki Sakanashi, and stars Daiken Okudaira.

The original manga, written by Zuion and illustrated by Kei Keiyama, is serialized in Weekly Young Magazine by Kodansha. A total of 18 volumes have been published in Japan so far.
The story follows Kiichi Ishidaira, a hot-tempered high school delinquent who discovers he has an overdue library book dating back ten years. After returning to the library for the first time since elementary school, he begins working there part-time. Through his new job, Kiichi meets a variety of unique staff members and gradually learns about the dedication required to support readers and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
