A teaser promotional video and additional cast members have been revealed for the TV anime Yowayowa Teacher, based on the original work by Kamio Fukuchi. The series is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.

Kodansha has been serializing YOWAYOWA TEACHER, a manga by Kamio Fukuchi, in Weekly Shonen Magazine since November 2022.
The story centers around Akihito Abikura, a high school sophomore who is initially unnerved to learn that his new homeroom teacher is Hiyori Hiwarimura, a figure infamous for her intimidating reputation. However, Akihito soon realizes that Hiyori isn’t frightening at all—she’s just incredibly shy.
