The ongoing anime YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master, will start its “Golden Raven Arc” from episode 13 on July 20, 2024, as revealed in a new trailer. Voice actor Yume Miyamoto joins the cast as Koume.

The anime YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master is based on Chisato Abe’s fantasy novels, the second installment of their Yatagarasu series. First published by Bungeishunjuu in 2012, the series now has ten volumes and two side stories. The first two volumes also have manga adaptations by Natsumi Matsuzaki from 2018 and 2020.

Welcome to Yamauchi, a world inhabited by the Yatagarasu, a race of three-legged ravens who shapeshift into humans.
