The broadcast of Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2, written by Toshi Aoi and Fujino Omori, has been confirmed for April 2026. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual, a special promotional video, and updated staff details have been revealed.

For Season 2, Tatsuya Yoshihara director of Season 1 and also director of the upcoming Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will return as chief director. Hideaki Nakano steps in as the new director, while BN Pictures and Actas will jointly handle production once again, as they did in Season 1. Character design is led by Saka Ono, music is composed by Yuki Hayashi, and much of the original staff is returning.
The first season of the anime, based on the manga written by Fujino Oomori the author of DanMachi and illustrated by Toshi Aoi, premiered on July 7, 2024, and is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll:
