The first promotional video for the upcoming TV anime WANDANCE has been released, featuring choreography supervised by a dedicated dance cast for each of the main characters. The series is set to premiere this October and, as previously announced, will stream on Disney platforms.
The anime is being produced by MADHOUSE in collaboration with CYCLONE GRAPHICS, with Michiya Kato directing the project. Naoki “naotyu-” Chiba serves as the soundtrack composer. Notably, renowned K-pop choreographer RIEHATA joins the team as the dance producer.
The series will feature over 30 songs from a diverse lineup of artists, including Yujin Aramaki, Alisa, Black Boboi, FUNI, GZO, Hidetake Takayama, Jazztronik, JiN, Seann Bowe, Jua, Kaztake Takeuchi, Marcello Jonno, Michael Yano a.k.a. ARK, MONJOE, RIEHATA, RIKKI, Sahnya, Scatman John, Shinichi Osawa, Shinichiro Murayama, Toru Ishikawa, URU, Weauxmaque, Wez Atras, and Yaffle.
The trailer also features the track “Get Something Out of Your Mind”, produced by Yaffle.

The manga WANDANCE has been serialized in Monthly Afternoon magazine since January 2019. So far, 13 volumes have been released. Kodansha USA publishes an official English version of the manga:
Kaboku Kotani is starting high school, and he plans to do what he’s always done: go along with his friends, keep quiet, and not to draw too much attention to himself.
