Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: TABOO NIGHT XXXX Debuts on May 9, 2025!

The Uta no Prince-sama franchise has announced that its latest concert film, Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: TABOO NIGHT XXXX, featuring the group QUARTET NIGHT, will be released in Japan on May 9, 2025. The “XXXX” in the title is pronounced as “kisses.”

The CD single for the film’s theme song, “TABOO NIGHT XXXX,” is set to release in Japan on December 25, 2024. In addition to the theme song, the single will feature the film’s insert track, “JINN-Ω-Ray.” To celebrate the film’s release, the cast of QUARTET NIGHT will reunite for a stage greeting event at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on May 11, 2025.

The first concert film of the seven-member idol group ST☆RISH, Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: Maji LOVE Kingdom, premiered in Japan in June 2019 and earned 1.82 billion yen (approximately 12.7 million USD) during its domestic run. Its sequel, Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: Maji LOVE ST☆RISH TOUR, released in September 2022, outperformed the original by grossing 2.29 billion yen (16 million USD).
