The production of the second season of UNDEAD UNLUCK, created by Yoshifumi Totsuka, has officially been announced. On December 25, a TV special titled “Winter Arc” was broadcast. To celebrate the announcement of season two, a brand-new illustration drawn by Totsuka has also been unveiled.

Yoshifumi Tozuka is the creator of UNDEAD UNLUCK. He made his manga debut with the one-shot Uchuu Kankou C-Arc (Cosmic Arc Travel), which was published in Jump Next! in May 2014. UNDEAD UNLUCK, his first series, began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in January 2020.
TMS Entertainment is producing and working on planning for the series and describes the UNDEAD UNLUCK as such:
Andy, a Negator with the ability “Undead”, has been long in search for someone with the ability to give him a ‘real death’. Fuko Izumo brings misfortune to those around her due to her ability “Unluck”. The two decide to join the Union, an organization which aims to control and protect the world from unidentified phenomena. The two uncover the mystery of the world as they search for the “greatest death ever”.
