In order to create an environment where studio creators can further demonstrate their individuality and create works, Twin Engine established two companies, Studio Chromato, Inc. and Crew-Cell Co., Ltd.
Studio Chromato is a studio centered on industry-notable creator Shingo Yamashita, who became famous for his work on the opening video of the first season of the TV anime JUJUTSU KAISEN, as well as Astro Note, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3, Chainsaw Man, Ranking of Kings (second opening). Yamashita‘s statement highlights the aspiration to produce captivating original anime and to enhance the fusion of hand-drawn animation with 3D techniques.
In addition, Crew-Cell is a studio that was established as a representative by Kazuki Enami, who has built a career at many video production companies for many years and has overseen the production site as an animation producer on My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World!, I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, and Babylon. Enami aims to innovate by crafting novel viewing experiences.
With the addition of this new studio, the Group has now grown into a production conglomerate consisting of 17 studios, each with its unique identity. Our goal is to foster an environment where studio creators can excel individually while collaborating as a collective to produce films that resonate with global audiences.
