The anime film Toritsukare Otoko is officially set to premiere in Japan on November 7. Masaya Sano (from the idol group Ae!) will voice the main character, Giuseppe, while Moka Kamishiraishi will lend her voice to the heroine, Pechka. A preview video has also been released to accompany the announcement.

The main character, a young man nicknamed “Toritsukare” by the townspeople for his tendency to become completely absorbed in things, falls in love at first sight with a balloon seller. True to his nature, he becomes entirely fixated on her and tries to get closer. However, she keeps her distance, burdened by a quiet sadness. Deeply enamored, he and his companion a clever little mouse secretly work to ease her troubles, using all the peculiar skills and methods he’s obsessively developed over time.
