The TV anime The World’s Strongest Rearguard: Labyrinth Country’s Novice Seeker has revealed its first teaser visual and is scheduled to premiere in July 2026. The main cast & staff has also been announced.

The series has been released in nine volumes under KADOKAWA’s Kadokawa BOOKS label, with total circulation surpassing 1.7 million copies. A manga adaptation illustrated by Rikizo is currently serialized in Kadocomi.
Yen Press publishes both the light novel and the manga in English, introducing the former with the following description:
Corporate slave Arihito Atobe’s death in a freak bus accident marks the beginning of his new life as a kind of adventurer called a Seeker. Reborn into a fantasy world, he settles into a previously unknown job class called “rearguard,” capable of providing his (all-female) party with critical attack, defense, and recovery support.
