The first promotional video for the TV anime The World’s Strongest Rearguard: Labyrinth Country’s Novice Seeker has been released. The series is directed by Yuuji Yanase and produced by MAHO FILM, with its premiere scheduled for July.

The series has been released in nine volumes under KADOKAWA’s Kadokawa BOOKS label, with total circulation surpassing 1.7 million copies. A manga adaptation illustrated by Rikizo is currently serialized in Kadocomi.
Yen Press publishes both the light novel and the manga in English, introducing the former with the following description:
Corporate slave Arihito Atobe’s death in a freak bus accident marks the beginning of his new life as a kind of adventurer called a Seeker.
