The TV anime The Ogre’s Bride will star Manaka Iwami, Ryota Osaka, Sayaka Senbongi, and Natsuki Hanae. Alongside the announcement, the first “Cast Release PV” has been unveiled. The anime is set to premiere in Japan in 2026.

The manga adaptation by Jun Togashi launched in Noicomi magazine in December 2021 and won the magazine’s annual girl comics ranking in both 2022 and 2023.
The light novel, written by Kureha and illustrated by Yū Shiroya, began in 2019 on Starts Publishing’s Novema! platform. It won the grand prize at the First Novema! Character Short Story Contest.
Set in a Japan where humans and demons live in harmony, the story follows Yuzu, an ordinary high school girl overshadowed by her older sister, the bride of a demon. Her life changes when a handsome ogre claims her as his bride.
