The Elusive Samurai anime, set to air in 2024 and produced by Studio CloverWorks, unveiled a new key visual and first trailer at Jump Festa 2024. Directed by Yuta Yamazaki and with series composition by Yoriko Tomita, the series features character designs by Yasushi Nishiya.

Asaki Yuikawa voices the main protagonist Hojo Tokiyuki, alongside Yūichi Nakamura as Suwa Yorishige. The manga, created by Yusei Matsui and serialized since 2021, is licensed in English by VIZ Media, with the 10th volume set for release on February 2024.
Synopsis according to VIZ Media:
After the massacre of his family by the traitor Ashikaga Takauji, Tokiyuki flees with the help of a handful of loyal retainers who have also survived the purge. One of them is Suwa Yorishige, an ally of the Hojo clan and lord of Suwa Province. The slightly odd Yorishige also claims to be clairvoyant and foretells that Tokiyuki will one day become the ruler of Japan. But for the moment, escaping from enemy territory is the priority!
