The production of Season 2 of the anime The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows has officially been confirmed! Along with the announcement, the official visual and teaser trailer for Season 2 have been released.
The announcement was made during the GAFES2026 stage event for The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows, which was broadcast live on ABEMA on Sunday, January 4th. The original series is based on the GA Novel.

I gave a tearful speech at the wrap party for Season 1, saying, “The anime has ended, but let’s meet again someday, somewhere,” so I’m a little embarrassed but incredibly happy about this surprise. I owe this entirely to the many people who watched and supported The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows, and to the dedicated efforts of the staff. Thank you all very much.
As a viewer myself, I’m eagerly looking forward to seeing what adventures and exploits this laid-back, unlicensed genius healer and his quirky companions will get up to in Season 2. Stay tuned for updates and the broadcast!

STORY:
A young healer named Zenos is deemed “useless” by the party of adventurers and is banished from the group. Born in the slums, he practices self-taught healing magic without a healer’s license. As he wanders the streets with nowhere to go, he comes across Lily, an elf girl on the brink of death… A clinic in an abandoned town on the very edge of the slums sets the stage for the fantastic tale of a brilliant unlicensed healer who has no idea just how powerful he truly is.
