To celebrate the second anniversary of The Apothecary Diaries TV anime, a special commemorative PV has been released.
Alongside the celebration, it was announced that the series will return for a third season, airing in two separate cours, the first in October 2026 and the second in April 2027.
In addition, the franchise will release its first theatrical film in December 2026 in Japan, featuring an all-new original story written by Natsu Hyuga, the creator of the series.

The highly anticipated Apothecary Diaries Exhibition is embarking on an exciting Asia tour. Kicking off in Hong Kong, the exhibition will journey across the region, with upcoming stops in Mainland China, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and more. A retrospective theater screening series will take place across five cities nationwide in Japan, running sequentially until the end of May. Beginning on February 15, 2026, six episodes will be shown every six weeks. Stage greetings are scheduled for February 15 (marking the start of Season 1) and April 12 (marking the start of Season 2). Further details will be announced at a later date.
The first event in the series, The Apothecary Diaries Special Event ~Summer Garden Party 2026~, will take place on August 15, 2026, at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall in Kanagawa. In addition to the previously announced cast members Aoi Yūki and Takeo Ōtsuka, six more stars will join the lineup, bringing a total of eight cast members to the stage for a spectacular show.
The event will feature a variety of special content, including live dubbing sessions from both seasons of the anime, dramatic readings of new works, and behind-the-scenes talk segments about the series.
Fans can secure priority tickets for the event through a special application included as a bonus in the Blu-ray Volume 4 of The Apothecary Diaries Season 2, released on January 15, 2026. Applications will be accepted until 1:59 p.m. on January 31, 2026.
