The TV anime series The Apothecary Diaries will hold a special event titled The Apothecary Diaries SPECIAL EVENT: Summer Garden Party 2026 on August 15, 2026, at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall.
Following the broadcast of its second season in January this year, a sequel has already been announced. The Summer Garden Party will feature two performances one in the daytime and one in the evening and will star Aoi Yuki as Maomao and Takeo Otsuka as Jinshi.
It was also revealed that priority tickets for the event will be included as a bonus with the fourth Blu-ray volume of the second season, set for release on October 15. Further details, including additional cast members, will be announced at a later date.
The Apothecary Diaries is based on the light novels by Natsu Hyuuga and Touko Shino. Crunchyroll streams the series and describes it:
Maomao lived a peaceful life with her apothecary father. Until one day, she’s sold as a lowly servant to the emperor’s palace. But she wasn’t meant for a compliant life among royalty. So when imperial heirs fall ill, she decides to step in and find a cure! This catches the eye of Jinshi, a handsome palace official who promotes her. Now, she’s making a name for herself solving medical mysteries!
