Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will release That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure worldwide in April and May 2026. Tickets will go on sale later. The movie will show in Japanese with English subtitles and English dub in the United States and Canada on May 1, 2026.

The previous movie, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond, will be re-released in the U.S. and Canada on April 20, 2026 as part of Crunchyroll Anime Nights, including an exclusive sneak peek of the new film.

After concluding the opening ceremony of the Demon Kingdom Federation Tempest, Rimuru and his companions are invited by the Celestial Emperor Hermesia of the great elven nation – the Magi Dynasty Salion – to visit her private resort island. As the group enjoys their brief vacation, a mysterious woman named Yura appears. A new incident unfolds against the backdrop of the boundless azure sea.
