Tatsuki Fujimoto’s 8 One-Shot Stories Get Anime Adaptation on November 8

Every artist has an origin story!

Eight short stories from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s collections Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 17–21 and Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 22–26 are being adapted into anime. The series, titled Tatsuki Fujimoto 17–26, will stream exclusively on Prime Video worldwide starting November 8. A key visual and trailer have also been released.

In Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26, various staff members are involved in each project. The directors include Tetsuaki Watanabe (BLUE LOCK TV anime), Kazuaki Terazawa (The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2), and Nobuyuki Takeuchi, among others, who worked on the movie Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?.

A total of six studios are participating in the production: ZEXCS, Lapin Track, STUDIO GRAPH77, 100studio, Studio Kafka, and P.A.WORKS. Notably, STUDIO GRAPH77 is a new animation studio established by FLAGSHIP LINE, with Kazuto Matsumura serving as president and CEO. This project will be their studio’s debut work.
