Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 Anime Heads to Theaters Before Prime Video Debut

From Japan to Hollywood!

The anime Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26, based on works by Tatsuki Fujimoto, will have a limited two-week theatrical run in Japan starting October 17, ahead of its exclusive Prime Video release on November 8. The anthology will feature eight stories, split into two parts (Part 1 and Part 2), with four films each releasing on the same day.

An international rollout has also been confirmed. The world premiere of Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 will take place at Global Stage Hollywood 2025, held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, USA, from October 3 to 5.

As a special bonus for visitors, the “Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 Special Leaflet” will be distributed during both “Part 1” and “Part 2” in Japan. The leaflet features a conversation between Tatsuki Fujimoto and his editor, Shihei Hayashi, along with anime-related information for each screened work. While the two have previously discussed Fujimoto’s short story collections, this new exchange was organized to mark the milestone of the film adaptation—making it something of a sequel to their earlier conversation.
