Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, we are not authorized to show you the chara design and key visual of this anime for the moment. This news will be exclusively in writing.
This exclusive information was unveiled at the Jonetsu convention on May 6 in Bourg-la-reine, France. We were there for the conference given by guest of honor TABATA Hisayuki, character designer and animation director.
Who is TABATA Hisayuki?:
He started out at Studio DEEN in the early 2000s, before making a name for himself with the quality of his animation direction on Code Geass, then his role as main animator on Accel World. In the 2010s, he became character designer on Yuyushiki, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven’s Feel, as well as Qualidea Code. The delicacy and sensuality of his style have made him an extremely popular animator and illustrator.
At this conference, TABATA Hisayuki unveils character design and the key visual of the cancelled anime project telling the story of young Sophie’s quest to find the lost treasures of Napoleon, to whom she is descended.
This original anime series takes place in Paris, which is why TABATA Hisayuki was delighted to present the exclusive information at the event he’s worked so hard on!
Although the original anime series has been cancelled, the elements presented by the guest (Design for the characters and the promotional visual), are not protected.
Officially, this project may be produced by another studio, but there’s little chance of that happening.
