Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Season 2 Officially Announced!

The main staff and lead cast return after five years!

After 5 years, it’s finally time to unveil some excellent news for fans of Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online. The second season of this series has just been officially announced! The announcement was made at Dengeki Bunko’s 30th anniversary event!

The first season of “Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online” captivated audiences with its unique blend of action and virtual reality.

So far, we know that the core team will be returning for Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Season 2, including director Masayuki Sakoi, series composition writer Yosuke Kuroda and character designer and animation director Yoshio Kosakai. The production team has also confirmed that voice actress Tomori Kusunoki will reprise the voice of Llenn, the main character.

In the world of guns and steel that is Gun Gale Online, LLENN has been a devoted, female solo player. She is obsessed with two things: donning herself entirely in pink and honing her skills with consistent game play. She soon discovers her love for hunting other players (a.k.a. PK), soon to be known as the “Pink Devil.”

Meanwhile, LLENN meets a beautiful yet mysterious player, Pitohui, and the two click right away. Doing as she is told by Pitohui, she enters the Squad Jam group battle.
