Hoppe-chan, the adorable slime mascot created by SUNHOSEKI in 2010, is making a major comeback with a brand-new anime. Titled HOPPECHAN -Mystery of the Sun Kingdom and the Black-Cheek Team-, the series is set to premiere in 2026. A teaser visual has also been unveiled.

The anime follows two stories:
- In the magical Sun Kingdom, a Hoppe-chan with no memories joins a fight against dark, “uncute” slimes.
- In the real world, a tired office worker named Hoho feels lost and sad.
As the story goes on, these two worlds will begin to connect.
