STUDIO4°C‘s new theatrical anime ChaO is set to premiere on August 15. Alongside the release of a teaser visual and a special report video, it has been announced that Oji Suzuka and Anna Yamada will star as Stephen and Chao, respectively.

ChaO is a love story set in a futuristic society where humans and mermaids live together. The story follows Stephen, a salaryman working for a shipbuilding company, whose life takes an unexpected turn when Chao, the princess of the mermaid kingdom, begins to court him.
