The 36th film in the long-running children’s anime franchise, Soreike! Anpanman: Chapon no Hero has unveiled a new trailer and poster. The film is set to hit Japanese theaters on June 27.

Soreike! Anpanman: Chapon no Hero follows the journey of Chapon, a mysterious boy with no memory of his origins, who teams up with Anpanman to face the villainous Baikinman. Based on Takashi Yanase’s original work, the film is directed by Toshikazu Hashimoto at TMS Entertainment, with a script by Shuji Kuzuhara and music composed by Taku Izumi and Hiroaki Kondo.
