So What’s Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin? TV Anime Announced for October

It has been announced that “So What’s Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin?”, the manga adaptation illustrated by Tsukasa Araki based on the original work by Nazuna Miki, will receive a TV anime adaptation scheduled to air in October. Along with the announcement, the main cast, production staff, and a teaser visual were revealed.

To celebrate the anime adaptation, a stage event will be held on March 29 at the Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures booth during AnimeJapan 2026. Voice actors Toya, Hikasa, and Tachibana will appear on stage for a special talk.

The latest 14th volume of the manga will be released on March 18. The series is published in English by Yen Press, which describes the story as follows:

Akira’s life is full of twists and turns—from Japanese salaryman, to reincarnated goblin, to recognized goblin aristocrat! He’s made great progress for the place of goblins in society, but not everyone is taken in by his charm. Four aristocratic families have refused to accept that a lowly monster has joined their ranks and have all united to take him down a peg.
