Shueisha will hold a new manga award based on battles, the “JUMP Next Generation Battle Manga Award,” with submissions open from October 1 to January 20, 2025. Winners are scheduled to be announced in March 2025.
Esteemed creators such as Tite Kubo (BLEACH), Kohei Horikoshi (My Hero Academia), Yuki Tabata (Black Clover), and Gege Akutami (JUJUTSU KAISEN) will serve as judges for the award.
Additionally, to commemorate the launch of the “JUMP Next Generation Battle Manga Award,” a brand-new illustration by Horikoshi was unveiled:
Winners of honorable mentions or higher will have the opportunity to serialize their work in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) in the future. Additionally, when their book is published, one of the four judges will be chosen to provide a recommendation comment on the obi.
