Senpai is an Otokonoko Anime 2nd Key Visual and Theme Song Revealed!

The TV anime “Senpai is an Otokonoko,” adapted from the original Pomu story, has announced that it will premiere on July 4. Alongside this news, they have also unveiled a new key visual and shared details about the theme song.

Both the opening theme and the ending theme are performed by Whale Don’t Sleep. The opening theme is “Wagamama” and the ending theme is “Are ga Koi Datta no ka na” feat. ???

Senpai is an Otokonoko is based on the manga published by LINE Digital Frontier, created by Pomu. This manga took the top spot in the 5th Manga We Want to See Animated Ranking and secured the second runner-up position in the web category of the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishou 2021.

The official synopsis:

Can true love really overcome any obstacles? Saki, a high school student, confesses her feelings to Makoto. Taken aback, Makoto reveals his secret, but the sudden discovery doesn’t seem to bother Saki who is already head over heels for him.

After being rejected, Saki asks Ryuji, Makoto’s childhood friend, for some advice on how to win his heart. A love triangle unfolds when Ryuji realizes that he might also have some feelings for his old friend.
