A collaboration visual for SANDA and BEASTARS FINAL SEASON, both created by Paru Itagaki, has been unveiled. The visual celebrates the broadcast of the final 12 episodes of SANDA, which begin airing today, December 19.
In keeping with the Christmas season and reflecting the fact that SANDA is inspired by the legend of Santa Claus the illustration features Santa Claus from SANDA, alongside Legoshi from BEASTARS FINAL SEASON, dressed in a Santa costume and holding Christmas presents.
This special collaboration visual was jointly produced by the respective animation studios behind each series, Science SARU and Studio Orange.

In near-future Japan with ultra-low birthrates, children are treasured but monitored. Santa is banned as dangerous. One snowy December 25th, middle-schooler Kazushige Sanda, descendant of Santa, is attacked by classmate Fuyumura who wants him to find her missing friend, Ono. “Santa, please find my friend.” To protect children from adults, Sanda decides to become Santa and fight the adults.

It is a world where carnivores and herbivores coexist. Following the battle with the culprit who devoured his classmate at school, Legoshi decides to drop out and begins living alone at Beast Apartments. Rouis has entered a prestigious university and resolves to face his father, Ogma. Haru also deals with many struggles as she tries to enjoy campus life. Meanwhile, the city sees an increase of devouring incidents. The fangs of the heinous criminal who is pulling all the strings begin to close in on Legoshi and the others …
