Samurai Ballerina –L’étoile de Paris en fleur– Anime Film Reveals Theme Song Collab Music Video

Upcoming original anime film!

Director Goro Taniguchi and Katsuya Kondo are teaming up for an original theatrical animation titled Samurai Ballerina –L’étoile de Paris en fleur–, along with a special collaboration music video for the theme song “Riding the Wind” written by Ryokuoushoku Shakai. The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on March 13, 2026.

It has also been announced that Ryokuoushoku Shakai will perform the insert song, titled “étoile”. Closely tied to the story’s world, the song enhances and enriches the film’s atmosphere.

SYNOPSIS:
Samurai Ballerina -L’étoile de Paris en fleur- is set in the early 1900s and follows the journey of two Japanese girls chasing their dreams against all odds. Fujiko aspires to become a painter, while Chizuru is drawn to the world of ballet. After a chance meeting in Yokohama, fate reunites them in Paris, where they support one another in pursuit of their ambitions beneath the city’s starlit skies.
