Saku Sakamoto Unveils Calabi-Yau no Sukima Anime Movie!

New Horror Anime from Saku Sakamoto!

Saku Sakamoto, known for Aragne: Sign of Vermilion and The Feast of Amrita, has announced a new short animated film, Calabi-Yau no Sukima. The film explores the horrors of the “six-dimensional world” akin to Calabi-Yau complex manifolds.

Sakamoto, serving multiple roles in production, will reveal the release date and cast later. His previous film, Aragne, was funded through successful crowdfunding campaigns and premiered in 2018. The prequel spinoff, The Feast of Amrita, premiered in Japan in May 2023 after a delay due to COVID-19. Sakamoto has been active in the anime industry since 2002.
