It was announced in today’s (22nd) issue of Weekly Shonen Jump that the manga SAKAMOTO DAYS will be adapted into a live-action film.
The series has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump since November 2020. It tells the story of Taro Sakamoto, a former legendary hitman who joins forces with his friends to fend off relentless assassins and protect the peaceful everyday life he cherishes with his family.
The manga has sold over 8 million copies to date. Its anime adaptation aired its first cour from January to March, followed by the second cour from July to September on Netflix.
